CLASSIFICATION OF TYPES OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Craft activity (řemeslné): Traditional professions requiring proof of qualification (e.g., butcher, baker, hairdresser).
Qualified activity (vázané): Specialized service types requiring certain qualifications or permits (particularly, accounting services, project activities in construction).
Free activity (volné): The most common category. Includes 82 types of activities that do not require special permits or qualifications (trade, services, IT, etc.).
Licensed activity (koncesované): A special category for activities that can only be conducted with a special license (concession). For example, the production and sale of alcohol, security services, conducting auctions.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR OBTAINING A LICENSE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

PRIMARY PACKAGE

Passport or another document proving identity.
Certificate of no criminal record (from the applicant’s country of residence).
Lease agreement or another document confirming the company’s legal address in the Czech Republic for certain licenses.
Completed application form corresponding to the chosen type of activity.
Diploma, certificate, or other document proving qualification for the selected type of activity (if required).
If the applicant appoints a responsible representative, a statement of consent to the appointment with a notarized signature is required.
