FAQ

When must the annual financial statements be filed in the Czech Republic?

For s.r.o.s — within 6 months of the end of the financial year (usually by 30 June). If a tax advisor is used, the deadline is extended to 31 October. We track the deadline for each client.

What is the deadline for submitting the daňové přiznání?

The standard deadline is 1 April of the following year. If filed via a tax advisor, the deadline is extended to 1 July. We ensure correct filing within the prescribed deadlines.

Do I need to submit a tax return if the company has not been active?

Yes, even with zero turnover, the company is required to submit a zero return. We will prepare all the necessary documents.

What happens if the filing deadline is missed?

The tax office may impose a fine for late submission and also charge interest on unpaid tax. Preventing such situations is our priority.

Can I just hand over the reporting if I already have an accountant?

Yes, we can handle solely the preparation and submission of the accounts – without managing the day-to-day bookkeeping. Please clarify this during a consultation.

How much does it cost to prepare annual accounts in the Czech Republic?

The cost depends on the volume of documentation for the reporting period and the number of employees. The price is fixed in the contract before work begins. Submit a request — receive a quote within 1 hour.
