WHY THIS MATTERS FOR EMPLOYERS
What the government programmes give you
Why hiring through a programme is simpler and faster than the standard route.
-
A guaranteed appointment slot
Booking a consulate appointment is normally close to impossible. The programme secures a guaranteed slot for submission.
-
Twice as fast as the standard procedure
Applications made through a programme are handled as a priority, so your employee starts work noticeably sooner.
-
Filing without a trip home
In a number of cases the application can be filed by a representative under a power of attorney, so the employee does not have to travel to their country of citizenship. This matters for Ukrainian nationals in particular.

Frequently asked questions
Who can hire staff through these programmes?
Czech employers (an s.r.o. or another legal entity) that have been enrolled in the programme. We help companies prepare and file that application.
How long does it take to process an employee?
Two to five months on average, depending on the programme, the country and the role. The programmes speed things up considerably compared with a standard application.
Can I transfer an employee from a foreign branch?
Yes, through an intra-company transfer (ICT), which covers managers, specialists and trainees.
What is the risk of hiring someone as a sole trader instead of on an employment contract?
That is the švarcsystém risk: back taxes, a fine and interest on top. We put employees on a proper legal footing.
What languages do you work in?
Ukrainian, English, Czech and Russian. Documents are prepared in line with the requirements of the Czech authorities.
Hiring and relocating staff to the Czech Republic
The government’s economic migration programmes let employers hire staff from third countries legally, faster and with priority over a standard application. A mistake in the paperwork, or the wrong programme, means a refusal and a great deal of lost time.
NAWI supports the employer throughout: choosing the programme, preparing the employer’s and the employee’s documents, filing the programme application and dealing with the authorities.
